Founded in 2003, Margaret's Place started as a humble two-room guesthouse and has since grown into a beloved self-catering venue in the heart of Kensington, Johannesburg. Initially focused on providing affordable accommodation for business travelers, our guesthouse now welcomes a diverse range of guests, including families and leisure travelers.

In 2021, longtime guests Christian and Martin took over the guesthouse, continuing its tradition of personalized service and family ownership. Managed by Veldeen and our friendly, motivated staff, Margaret's Place remains dedicated to offering a comfortable and convenient stay for all our visitors.
